Yesterday, developer Rogue Sun and publisher Wired Productions released Tin Hearts for the Nintendo Switch. In this puzzle adventure game, you’ll experience an intergenerational story and take on the role of little tin soldiers.

In Tin Hearts, you’ll experience the thought-provoking story of Albert Butterworth and his family in Victorian England. Albert their an ingenious inventor who also created a variety of toys for his daughter. Among them is a group of little tin soldiers that we have to guide through more than 40 levels in this adventure game.

As we create new paths for the little soldiers, we experience the emotional, intergenerational story of the Butterworth family, one of love and compromise.

A nursery comes to life and little heroes must be steered through a large game world. The lovingly designed gameplay reminds us of the co-op adventure It Takes Two, in which we also have to scurry through the family home in miniature and explore a small parallel world.

A similar experience seems to await us on Tin Hearts, in which we have to exert all our grey cells to bring the little tin soldiers safely through the levels.

Tin Hearts is available now for the Nintendo Switch and is scheduled for release May 16 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. We hope you have fun trying it out!
