Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for One Piece Odyssey. This shows that two more well-known story arcs will be of great importance for the game. The publisher also announces that a demo of the game will be available soon.

As the new trailer for One Piece Odyssey shows, two more arcs from the Straw Hat Pirates’ past will play a role alongside Alabasta and Water Seven. On the one hand, fans can look forward to the Marineford arc, in which Ruffy has to prevent the execution of his brother Ace together with his friends.

On the other hand, the Dressrosa-Arc is taken up. Within this story arc, the Straw Hat Pirates set out to overthrow Donquixote Doflamingo, one of the Seven Samurai of the Seas. In addition to our pirate crew, Ruffy’s second brother Sabo and Trafalgar Law also play important roles in this arc.

As the trailer shows, however, the events of both arcs play out somewhat differently than in the anime and manga.

At the end of the trailer, Bandai Namco announces that a demo of One Piece Odyssey will be offered on PlayStation and Xbox consoles from 10 January 2023  The progress made in it will be able to be carried over into the main game later on.

From 13 January 2023 the full game will finally be released on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
