Ubisoft introduces the new addon for Far Cry 6, which introduces a completely wacky setting. We have all the info on the expansion.
Unusual DLCs are apparently a Far Cry tradition. We remember a DLC on Mars, a trip to the Valley of the Yetis and Blood Dragon, which would also make a good cover for a synthwave album.
Now Ubisoft announced a new add-on for Far Cry 6 via livestream that strikes even wackier notes: In Lost Between Worlds, protagonist Dani Rojas is stranded in a kind of parallel dimension and fights her way through a fragmented version of Yara with the help of the alien astral being Fai.
Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds will be released on 6 December 2022 and costs around 20 euros. To convince interested parties to buy the main game, the developers are also now offering a free trial version of Far Cry 6 at Ubisoft and in the Epic Store as well as for consoles.

This is what”s in Lost Between Worlds
The story of the DLC begins as Dani investigates the impact site of a supposed meteorite, which turns out to be a crashed spaceship. Suddenly, we as players are stuck in a distorted space between worlds. Now we have to pass a total of 15 tests in a fragmented version of Yara, in which the disembodied Fai alien assists us.
The crystal-splintered levels contain sometimes a broken fortress floating in the void and sometimes an underwater version of the capital Esperanza. Dangers, obstacles and puzzles are meant to provide excitement. In addition, we fight against crystalline beings in human and animal form.
In each of the so-called rifts, energy fragments can be found, which we have to collect in order to get new attempts in case of failure. Replayability is to be achieved through different approaches to the tasks.
If we complete all the tasks, we can take Fai”s powerful equipment with us into the main game. For example, new weapons for Far Cry 6 await us.
The new expansion follows the conclusion of the DLC series, which revolved around the well-known villains of the series.
