In spring of this year, PlayStation and Guerilla Horizon announced Call of the Mountain. Now the VR spinoff of the Horizon series is officially available for pre-order. The publisher and developer are celebrating this announcement with a new trailer.

In Horizon Call of the Mountain you take on the role of the former Shadow Carja warrior Ryas. He is on his rehabilitation mission and for this he must investigate a new threat facing the Solar Empire. As in the main series, you can expect tense gameplay in this VR adventure, which is rounded off by beautiful visuals. A highlight of the title, for example, is the River Ride experience, which allows you to experience the untamed beauty of the world.

Horizon Call of the Mountain lets you get up close and personal with the machines. Observe them and your surroundings through the 110-degree field of view, which you can enjoy in 4K resolution and HDR. Thanks to the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers of the PS VR2 Sense controllers, you”ll experience this Horizon adventure in unprecedented immersion. Eye tracking, headset feedback, 3D audio and the new PS VR2 Sense controllers enhance this feeling and let you merge with the post-apocalyptic world.

On 22 February 2023 Horizon Call of the Mountain will be released for PlayStation VR2. The new VR system has only recently become available for pre-order and is available in a bundle with the game.
