After two postponements, it looked like Marvel’s Midnight Suns wouldn’t be released this year. There was much to suggest that the strategy game would not get underway until spring 2023.

But no such thing: During Disney’s in-house trade fair D23, Marvel and Firaxis announced that the mix of XCom and superheroes will be released in 2022 after all. To be more precise, the release will take place on December 2, 2022 provided there is no further postponement. At least this is true for the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

In addition to the release date, the new trailer also grants fresh gameplay impressions. Meanwhile, in our (Preview of Marvel’s Midnight Suns) we tell you why this could be one of the most spectacular strategy games of the year.
