Kojima Productions and 505 Games announce that Death Stranding will soon be part of the PC Game Pass. This will mark the first time the genre-bending title will be available for the Microsoft ecosystem.

2019 saw the release of Death Stranding for the PlayStation 4, followed by its release on PC in July 2020. This was followed by the Director’s Cut, which has been available for the PS5 since September last year. Now the Microsoft system is also to be able to immerse itself in the world of the emotional sci-fi adventure. From 23 August at 2am, Death Stranding will be part of the PC Game Pass.

Actor Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) embodies the role of protagonist Sam “Porter” Bridges in this adventure game. Together with him, you roam the barren remains of America, which has been afflicted by supernatural phenomena of enormous proportions – the so-called Death Stranding. With a mission to bring humanity back together, Sam travels west and sets off on an emotional adventure that tells the gripping story of perseverance.

PC Game Pass owners will also be able to use the Social Stranding feature, which allows them to connect with other community members. This way they can improve their own or other players’ worlds together. Thanks to highways, cable cars, safehouses and other structures, joint work is facilitated.
