Which games will be newly announced at gamescom 2022? Many of them are still top secret, but we can already tell you about a few of them.

Rumours and speculation still surround the world premieres that Geoff Keighley has promised for Opening Night Live at gamescom 2022. And the trade fair itself is also said to have surprises in store.

The leak valves are firmly shut so far. Nevertheless, we know of some games that will be newly unveiled. We only cover titles that have not yet been officially revealed (for example via trailer). In addition, there are of course a number of other games that you can try out for yourselves on site.

World premieres at gamescom 2022

Let’s not beat around the bush. These are the titles we already know are set to debut at gamescom 2022:

Everywhere

The former head of Rockstar North, Leslie Benzies, is moving out to put the fear of God into the great GTA. At least in theory, but so far little is officially known about the open-world game Everywhere.

This is supposed to change at gamescom 2022. How exactly and whether gameplay will be seen remains to be seen. But with a bit of luck, it will become clear which direction the game is taking and how far development has progressed. The topic of NFTs is also on the table.

Benzies has made big headlines so far mainly due to legal disputes with Rockstar.

New game by Subnautica developers

Oh yes, Unknown Worlds can make good games. This is evident in Subnautica and its spinoff Below Zero, which have been very well received in our (Tests) and by gamers.

In 2021, PUBG developer Krafton bought the studio. And apparently a lot is moving, because a new game will be revealed at gamescom 2022.

The still unannounced title is said to be set in a sci-fi setting. Quite different from the open-world survival game Subnautica, this time it’s probably about turn-based gameplay.

Four unannounced games from THQ Nordic

THQ Nordic has several successful brands that deserve a sequel.

At gamescom 2022, the publisher will present four unannounced games. So if you are a fan, you should keep an eye on the fair. Which titles they could be, perhaps even completely new brands, only time will tell.

What are you looking forward to at gamescom 2022? Or does the fair leave you completely cold? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments!
