A player is in breach of confidentiality due to leaks about Diablo 4. He seems to be unaware of the violation.

Diablo 4 seems to be in an alpha phase at the moment. Only selected players have access to the test servers. However, a tester has livestreamed some Diablo 4 content and shared it with the world.

A leaker has provided Diablo fans with new impressions of the upcoming part, although it actually violates the secrecy agreement to stream the game during the alpha. The player himself did not know whether he was allowed to share this with the gaming community at all. In the shared clip, the leaker himself says, “I really don’t know if I’m allowed to stream this.”

The leaked content gives further insight into character creation, difficulty levels and even cutscenes in Diablo 4, as well as giving players:ins a look at the loot system and in-game trading. The leaker also revealed the file size of the title. Diablo 4 will probably take up almost 70 GB of storage space.

In addition, the footage of Diablo 4 has the watermark “Test Build 508546” all over it. This makes it possible for Blizzard to determine the leaker, as each tester was assigned a certain number in advance. However, it is not known what punishment the leaker now faces due to the recordings. The leaked content disappeared quite quickly from the social platforms, but was shared again on other websites.
