The Endurance Update of No Man’s Sky has big changes in store for you. These mainly include a general overhaul of your freighter and how you perceive space during your stay. We summarise everything you need to know below.

The freighter is not only one of the central locations of your game, it is also at the centre of the upcoming No Man’s Sky update Endurance. Developer Hello Games has given the massive space ships a general overhaul that will make life on them not only more beautiful, but also more pleasant. For example, your bases are now equipped with a new bridge with which you can not only command your fleet.

You have direct access to Warp and Teleportation Your hired NPC crew will now live and work on your freighter as well, making your base look more alive.

In addition, you can equip your freighters with various upgrades such as the farming modules and scanners. Visit these new spaces by taking a spacewalk via outer walkways . If you want to take a closer look at the infinite expanse of space, you can visit the outer platforms and look directly into the stars there.

The vastness of No Man’s Sky’s space has also received some upgrades. For example, asteroids now appear in more variations and larger quantities. The same applies to black holes and galactic nebulae, which can now be admired in new beauty.

You can now encounter organic frigates as you travel through space. These are procedurally generated and can vary in shape, colour and tentacle configurations. Build your own fleet of these wondrous creatures and improve their attributes by controlling them from the fleet management screen.
