Once again, a Warzone skin is causing a stir within the community. This time it’s about the Violet Stealth pack.
The Warzone developers have apparently learned nothing from the past and have once again introduced a skin into the game that makes you almost invisible.
New skin, old problem
Even the Spanish philosopher George Santayana knew: “Those who do not remember their past are condemned to repeat it”. A lesson that the developers of the Warzone skins obviously never learned. This is proven by the new Violet Stealth pack which some players are already dubbing “Roze 3.0”. The new skin revives an old problem. The community’s main point of criticism is literally in the dark and is causing a renewed Pay2Win debate to flare up.

Meanwhile, complaints about the Violet Stealth package are piling up on Reddit. They say the new skin is too dark and too hard to see. Those who hide in low-light areas of the map are virtually invisible and can eliminate their opponents from ambush. Many consider this an unfair advantage that can also be bought with real money. Especially on the new map Fortune’s Keep there are many shady places where the new skin is hard to spot.
Nothing learned?!
This is not the first time that the community has had to deal with this kind of problem. Already in the past there have been incidents with skins that were too dark and became almost invisible in poorly lit areas. Probably the best known of these is the Roze skin, which was still considered OP even after various nerfs.
Whether we can hope for a change soon, however, is questionable. So far, the developers have not announced anything to improve the situation. With the first Roze skin, it took months until they reacted and lightened the skin. Until then, all we can do is darken our room and turn up the screen brightness to maximum.
