Mankind is on the brink of extinction, much of the wasteland lies fallow. Only in the community do people still have a real chance of surviving this nightmare. That is exactly why we build our own colony in the strategy game Surviving the Aftermath, which is still quite small at the beginning, and protect our inhabitants with the best of consciences.

By the way, the motto “survive together” fits perfectly with the new DLC “New Alliances”: Now it is finally possible for us to forge alliances outside our walls. Instead of just building trade partnerships, we can form a federation with other groups of survivors to either ensure our own safety – or to raze enemy colonies to the ground.

Whether the respective group likes you or not depends on your behaviour. If you complete tasks for your neighbouring city, support it with raw materials or defend it against bandits, they will be friendly to you. This also has the advantage that after a certain point you can build exclusive promotion station buildings. However, if you often fail to fulfil their tasks, the group of survivors can also become your rival.

In our review of Surviving the Aftermath, the game was able to convince with its beautiful graphics and exciting gameplay, while the late-game was less motivating. The DLC “New Alliances” is already available and costs 15 Euros.
