Ludwig switched from Twitch to YouTube. However, the streamer criticises the platform more often because of the livestreams.

The streamer Ludwig switched from the platform Twitch to YouTube last year. In his livestream on Saturday, the star streamer talks about his experiences with the platform so far.

Ludwig criticises YouTube mainly in terms of livestreams. According to the 26-year-old, the website still needs some improvement. During his livestream, the streamer even admits that “YouTube livestreaming sucks.” However, he does not regret his decision to leave Twitch behind some time ago and switch to YouTube.

Moreover, Ludwig still enjoys streaming on YouTube, he says. He also firmly believes that the platform could even be better than its competitor Twitch at some point. However, it could still take years before it finally gets that far. According to the streamer, YouTube is too slow to integrate features that are already commonplace on Twitch.

As an example, Ludwig cites hosting and raiding, which is already a staple on Twitch. YouTube has only recently added the feature. However, it doesn’t seem to work very easily, as the streamer shows in his livestream. At the moment, the operation of the feature is said to be rather confusing for content creators.
