Let’s face it, what’s cooler than space pirates? Okay, space ninjas maybe. But the combination of the deep sea and ship adventures with the endless expanses of space and its dangers is definitely an exciting role-playing game setting. Dungeons and Dragons thought so too, and with the Spelljammers Adventures they are now creating a campaign setting in Wildspace.

In addition to all the info for the game masters among you, you’ll also find new options to create matching Wildspace characters in the campaign. On top of that, Wizzards of the Coast is also releasing three new books about Wildspace:

The Astral Adventurer’s Guide: A campaign book with space-based character options, spells and magic items, deck plans and descriptions for Spelljammer ships.

Boo’s Astral Menagerie
: Featuring over 60 creatures from Wildspace and the Astral Sea, including astral elves, cosmic horrors, moon and sun dragons, killer comets and space clowns.

Light of Xaryxis: A game master adventure set in the Astral Plane, intended for characters of levels 5-8.
