According to a leak, jetpacks could soon be back in Fortnite. This could have massive implications for the current meta.

For the past week, building has been unavailable in Fortnite. Now insider information is surfacing claiming that players:inside could soon be flying around again with a jetpack in Fortnite.

Due to the disabling of building in Fortnite, the meta in the game has already changed. However, this could change even further with jetpacks. According to the leaker “Hypex”, players could soon be flying through the air with such an item. This would enable Fortnite gamers to spot and eliminate enemies from above.

After all, it is no longer possible for players:inside to protect themselves from attackers by quickly building walls and even easier to spot due to a jetpack. However, building is expected to return to Fortnite soon, as it will only be disabled for just under nine days. However, rumours are doing the rounds that a new mode will also appear in the Battle Royale where building is permanently disabled.

The jetpacks were once in Season 4 in Fortnite a long time ago, however supposedly they will work differently in the current Chapter 3. The players could glide with the jetpacks and it should also be possible to aim while shooting. This would also make it possible to give enemies the coup de grace from the air and simply fly over protective walls. This would be a drastic intervention in the current gameplay and would also influence the professional scene.
