At the end of last year, the developers of Intrepid Studios announced that Ashes Of Creation will switch to the Unreal Engine 5 in early 2022. While all assets will have to be repackaged to take advantage of the new underpinnings, this will allow all developers to work on different parts of the game at the same time, which in turn will speed up development.
The developers present how good this can look in the approximately three-minute trailer, which shows various shots of animals and the landscape. Especially the light and shadow effects paint a particularly realistic look. So it’s no wonder that many MMO fans are eagerly awaiting this promising title. Unfortunately, there is no final release date for Ashes of Creation yet.
