Riot Games is giving champion Rengar a makeover in the upcoming patch 12.6, with the Q ability always being a critical hit in the future.

Riot Games is reworking Rengar in Patch 12.6, which will be released on 30 March. The Pridestalker’s traits will be adjusted to the current Jungle meta, as the lion’s teeth have become a bit blunt in recent months.

Currently, Rengar is struggling badly in his preferred role in the Jungle with a win rate of 46.5 per cent. Things look a little better on the top lane, where the champion stands at a win rate of almost 50 per cent, but is picked on much less there.

What will be changed in patch 12.6? Riot Games is focusing on buffs from Rengar. His passive will become more forgiving as the falloff timer for ferocity is increased. As a result, ganks should become more effective, as you won’t lose your stacks as quickly now.

Q skill always critical hit

The Q skill always counts as a critical hit as of patch 12.6. Additional critical hit chance from items like Phantom Dancer, now gives Rengar increased damage scaling. This means the Pridestalker is not reliant on achieving a 100 percent critical hit chance every game to be useful. Also, his Q ability now triggers on towers, greatly increasing his siege power as a top laner.

The E skill: Bola Strike no longer has spell time when jumping and reveals enemies hit for two seconds. So if you use Rengar to perform a Bola Strike on a target in a bush or over a wall, you can track it better in the future. In addition, the ultimate ability Thrill of the Hunt reveals a small area around the target, giving better options when attacking.
