Following the secret buff of the PPSh-41 through the Warzone Season 2 update, another weapon has now surfaced that is more powerful than before the patch.

As we reported earlier, the Russian SMG PPSH-41 received an unexpected buff with Warzone’s Season 2 update, making the already extremely powerful weapon fully OP. Now, Warzone expert JGOD has discovered another weapon that was surprisingly buffed in his latest video.

Nerf becomes buff?

Call of Duty analyst JGOD strikes again and discovers another hidden buff on a Warzone weapon. This time it’s the Bren, which was actually supposed to be generated with the last update. Whether this is an intended buff can therefore be clearly answered in the negative. So far it is also unclear whether the developers are even aware of the bug.

JGDO calculates in his video an improvement in TTK of almost 100 milliseconds, between the current Bren and the pre-Season 2 update Bren. A difference of 100 milliseconds doesn’t sound like much, but it makes a huge difference in a firefight. With 744 milliseconds, the Bren was already in the midfield of TTK values before the update – now it has an unbelievable 651 milliseconds for body hits at any distance. For head and neck shots you even reach 465 milliseconds.

The weapon already had similar values when Warzone Pacific was released and was therefore already generated in January. Another nerf was supposed to weaken the LMG with the Season 2 update on 14 February, but ended up in the opposite, as we have now seen.

To achieve these fantastic TTK values, you should equip the Bren as follows:

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • barrel: Queen’s 705mm Royal
  • sight: M38/Slate 2.5x Custom
  • Shaft: Hockenson SP2B
  • Underflow: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Mags
  • Ammunition type: Lengthened
  • Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: On-Hand
