Developer Raven Software released the patch notes for their latest Warzone update yesterday. In addition to two small bug fixes, there was also a change that many had been hoping for for some time.

Long queues in front of the Buy Stations

One of the most controversial changes in recent months was retracted today by Warzone developer Raven Software. Rumours had already been doing the rounds a few days ago that loadout drops would once again be made available in the Buy Station.

be made available in the Buy Station. Now this change has been officially confirmed on Twitter.

Developer listens to community

The change introduced last year, that loadout drops appear automatically in the second and sixth circle with a time delay, was met with a lot of criticism in the community and even caused some players to hang up the shooter. The negative feedback on the changed game mechanic has already been addressed by Raven Software in a tweet from 11 January.

Affects Battle Royale area only

The change, however, only affects Battle Royale mode and not Vanguard Royale. According to the developer, Vanguard Royale will still have the unpopular delayed drops. It is unclear if or when these will also be changed.
