Call of Duty: Vanguard is still struggling with problems in the new year. Now Season 2 will be delayed by several days.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is apparently not under a good star. After Season 1 had to be postponed, Season 2 is now also delayed – by a whopping 12 days.

As the CoD team announced on the official Twitter account, the new season in Warzone: Pacific and Vanguard will not start until 14 February. Originally, the release was planned for 2 February. The postponement is intended to give the developers more time to fix the numerous bugs and glitches in the game.

“We have already provided some updates, but more needs to be done,” the tweet reads. The development team also stressed that they take the community’s complaints seriously and want to optimise the game experience for fans by delaying the patch.

Chaos at Activision

In recent months, CoD players:inside had reported that both Warzone and Vanguard were in a nearly unplayable state. Several Call of Duty pros also criticised the game’s balancing problems. Strikes at developer studio Raven Software could also be related to the delay.

In addition, the company is in a state of upheaval following the takeover of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. Therefore, it is quite likely that further delays will occur in the future.
