Today 1047 Games announced the release date of Splitgate Beta Season 1. Along with it you can expect a lot of new features like maps, game modes and improvements. We give you more details in the article.

The Splitgate Beta Season 1 will start on 27 January on all available platforms. From the beginning, you can explore the map Foregone Destruction, which has received a refresh just like the base game. Also launching is the new Battle Pass, which includes 100 stages of weapon designs, banners and sprays.

In addition, players can now get creative themselves and take the game to a new level with the Custom Map Creator. With this new tool, fans can express their wishes for the further development of Splitgate and experiment with different features.

The two new game modes round off the innovations of Splitgate Beta Season 1. In the turn-based Evolution mode, the losing team from the last round receives better equipment in the new round. One Flag is a capture the flag mode in which there is a defender and an attacker team. The defenders have to protect their flag from the attackers.
If players want to experiment with the 3v3 modes Takedown, Showdown and Evolution, they can do so in the simulation map Hotel.
