Howl of the Wild: Free Minecraft app now available

This holiday season, Mojang has a reason to celebrate. Because since yesterday, a free Minecraft map is available. It comes from the map creator Mithey and lets you experience an exciting animal adventure. Howl of the Wild is available for the Java Edition.

Take on the role of a lone wolf and explore the deep forests in Minecraft Howl of the Wild. Walk through beautiful landscapes while solving tricky puzzles and teaming up with unusual partners. Even as a wolf, some items can be collected and rune stones can be activated. But despite all the animal fun, caution is advised. Not all forest animals are friendly towards you.

The (official Minecraft post) explains how to download and install Howl of the Wild. There you will also find an interview with the creator of the map. In the interview, Mithey talks about the challenges of map building and gives a preview of what players can expect in the free map.
