As colourful as the universe: Those who are already among the lucky few and own a PlayStation 5 can spice up their console a bit in the near future. Currently, there are still severe shortages of the actual console, but the new Galaxy series at least embellishes controllers and PS5 cases. As listed in the (official blogpost), the following options will soon be available for purchase:

DualSense Wireless Controller ($74.99):

  • Nova Pink
  • Starlight Blue
  • Galactic Purple
  • Cosmic Red (already available)
  • Midnight Black (already available)

Cases for the PlayStation 5 ($54.99):

  • Nova Pink
  • Starlight Blue
  • Galactic Purple
  • Cosmic Red
  • Midnight Black

The new colours for the controllers as well as the Cosmic Red and Midnight Black plates for the PlayStation 5 are available for pre-order via PlayStation Direct. They will finally be released on 14 January. The three other colours for the PS5 cases will only be available at a later date. Prices in euros are not yet official.

Outside of PlayStation Direct, the models will also be available at official retailers. However, Sony emphasises that the exact launch dates may vary depending on the location and interested parties should therefore check with the relevant local retailer.
