A brand new trailer for the fan-awaited sci-fi strategy game Homeworld 3 was shown at the Game Awards 2021. In it, we see every battle in space and get some more info about the background story from a narrator.
However, not much is known about the actual gameplay. The developers stated in the new trailer that the game has been developed for powerful, modern hardware and that fans can look forward to new ships, fully simulated ballistics, persistent fleets (you take over the damage from one mission to the next) and the full package of campaign, multiplayer and co-op. The latter is supposed to include a “roguelike twist” – but what is meant by that was left open.
The spectacular space battles are to start in the fourth quarter of 2022.
