Sherlock Holmes Chapter One: info on the last-gen release

Just three weeks ago, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One was released for PC and next-gen consoles. Already during the production phase, developer Frogwares had announced that a last-gen version would also be released. But they were never able to name an exact date for this release. Now the studio has announced that the versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will not be released until spring of next year.

In a Twitter message, the Ukrainian developer studio Frogwares announces that Sherlock Holmes Chapter One will be released in the first quarter of next year. They need more time to prepare the game for the older hardware so that they can guarantee adequate performance. At the same time, they thank the community for their understanding, patience and ongoing support.

In Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, you will meet a fledgling detective who has yet to earn his reputation. Together with his best friend Jonathan, Sherlock travels to the Mediterranean island of Cordona. Not only did the detective spend a good part of his childhood there, his mother is also buried on the island. Thinking there is something fishy about his mother’s death, Sherlock explores the supposedly laid-back place and uncovers gruesome secrets.

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is available for PC via (Steam), (GOG) and (Epic Games Store). Those who gamble on the console can drop by the (PlayStation Store) and the (Microsoft Store).
