Just three weeks ago, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One was released for PC and next-gen consoles. Already during the production phase, developer Frogwares had announced that a last-gen version would also be released. But they were never able to name an exact date for this release. Now the studio has announced that the versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will not be released until spring of next year.

In a Twitter message, the Ukrainian developer studio Frogwares announces that Sherlock Holmes Chapter One will be released in the first quarter of next year. They need more time to prepare the game for the older hardware so that they can guarantee adequate performance. At the same time, they thank the community for their understanding, patience and ongoing support.
