From today you can explore the small town of Selphia in a special way. Because Marvelous Europe announces that Rune Factory 4 Special is available from today. In addition to the base game, the Special Edition of the imaginative adventure game includes the DLC Another Episode.
The plot of Rune Factory 4 is easily explained. Your protagonist falls out of an airship and finds the small town of Selphia. Due to a mix-up, you are crowned prince or princess of the village and can now decide how you want to rule the village: With an iron fist or supportive helpfulness. Meanwhile, you can help with the gardening, face dangerous monsters in the dungeons and build relationships with the other villagers. Among them are 12 marriage candidates.
These marriage candidates, along with the friendly dragon Ventuswill, play a central role in the DLC Another Episode. In the picture book-like narratives, the individual characters themselves have their say and report on their adventures in Japanese or English.
Rune Factory 4 Special is available now for PC, Xbox and PlayStation. For the Nintendo Switch, this version has already been available since last year. By the way, Rune Factory 5 will be released soon.
