In the new trailer for the tactical role-playing game Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters, the developers explain more about the deeper game mechanics as well as the lore behind the game and show some new gameplay scenes.

The focus is on the antagonists: Nurgle is the Chaos deity of disease and decay and has even corrupted Space Marines and turned them into enemies of the Empire. How will the elite forces of the Grey Knights cope? Upgrades for the spaceship (which also serves as base and headquarters), new skills for the Grey Knights or better weapons are just a few of the options for players to improve their troops.

Warhammer fans will also be pleased to see how close the game stays to the miniatures and the codices of the 40K universe through the cooperation with Games Workshop. Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters is scheduled for release in 2022, more info can be found on the (Steam) shop page.
