In the skin of the horror writer Alan Wake, we travel together with our wife Alice to the tranquil small town of Bright Falls to get some rest. Because Alan either can’t sleep at all – and when he does, he has terrible nightmares.
Alan can’t really relax, however, because shortly after his arrival strange things start happening in and around Bright Falls, which are strangely connected to his dreams. Shortly afterwards, he has to fight for his survival against shadowy creatures.
