The Intel Extreme Masters Season 16 – Fall Europe kick off. The top tournament features many top teams like BIG for the Major dress rehearsal in Stockholm, Sweden. Here it will be decided who will collect the important points for the highlight of the year.

Memories of the good Esport days are coming back. Back to LAN events with top teams, IEM Fall 2021 takes place in Sweden from 29 September to 10 October, just weeks before the first Major event in over two years. The teams will be fighting for the valuable RMR points for the upcoming mega event from Wednesday evening onwards, which is why the CS:GO scene is eagerly looking towards the venue in Stockholm.

24 teams will compete at the IEM Fall Europe. With Natus Vincere and Gambit, two top teams are missing because the CIS region plays separately. But the rest of the European elite is represented by the best players. German fans are looking forward to the opening match in Group A between BIG and mousesports, both of which are expecting to finish in the top positions. Meanwhile, Sprout find themselves as underdogs in Group C with top favourites like Team Vitality.

The LAN event will offer prize money totalling 105,000 US dollars. Co-favourites to win are Team Vitality, G2 Esports and FaZe Clan. The Danish top teams Astralis and Heroic as well as the German hope BIG are lurking in the second row. The extended circle of favourites is completed by the Swedish teams Ninjas in Pyjamas and Fnatic, who both enjoy home advantage in this tournament.

Only the eleven best teams will receive RMR points, which will be decisive for participation in the PGL Major in Stockholm. The CS:GO highlight of the year is endowed with 2 million US dollars in prize money.
