Riot Games will release a new client next week to keep up with its growing library of games.

Riot Games is rapidly expanding its in-house game library – and plans to keep all its games under one roof starting next week Monday. Two years ago, the League of Legends developer began releasing other titles such as the auto-battler Teamfight Tactics (TFT), the collectible card game Legends of Runeterra and the first person shooter VALORANT. With Wild Rift, a mobile variant of League of Legends is now also playable.

A brand new client was announced on Thursday. It can access all titles from Riot Games. This makes it possible to quickly switch between games like VALORANT and LoL. This is a completely optional client that also includes all future projects of the developer. Already known are future games that will have their place in the fighting and MMO genre.

Each game in the client will have its own page with all the news relevant to the topic of the respective title. The Blog Post from Riot Games gives a first preview of the new service. The advantage of the client lies in its user-friendliness and speed. Even titles that are not installed can be played via this client – the system takes care of this automatically.

Riot Games plans to release the new client on 20 September, but still in a test phase. The worldwide release is planned for 4 October. However, this date could be postponed if unexpected problems have to be solved during the test phase. Riot Games wants to “provide the best possible experience for all players at full release”.
