The time has finally come! The grand finale of the Uniliga in League of Legends will take place – this time finally offline again
Normally, the finals of the summer season take place at gamescom, which is unfortunately not possible this year. In order to be able to offer the participants, spectators and fans the spectacle of an exciting offline final, the League of Legends final will be held on 4 September 2021 at Saturn Xperion in Cologne
THE FINALISTS
Once again, perennial runners-up Bremen Brothers and four-time university champions KIT SC White will meet. This is the fifth time the teams have faced each other in the final. So far, KIT SC White has prevailed every time and won four titles in a row. Last season, the Bremen team had to admit defeat to the Hannover Hounds. But now they have been eliminated in the semi-finals against KIT SC White, which is why Karlsruhe and Bremen will meet again.
But this year everything could be different! The Bremen team defeated KIT SC White in the group stage. Even though only one of two games could be played, they won against Karlsruhe. However, they then had to admit defeat to KIT SC 2:0 in the quarter-finals at the University Esports Masters. Whether this was a foretaste of the final or whether the Bremen team is using the time to train diligently, we will find out on 4 September at the final.
Will The Bremen Brothers secure the title this time? Or can KIT SC White once again take the crown as the best League of Legends university team in Germany?
