Riot Games will enable the creation of custom avatars in League of Legends in the future. What possibilities does the new feature offer?

Riot Games has announced a host of new features for League of Legends ahead of the start of the 2022 season. These include the creation of custom avatars in the LoL universe, which will be possible from Friday. There is currently a countdown on the (Homepage of League of Legends) after which the feature will be accessible.

The LoL developer announces that hairstyles, accessories, armour and backgrounds as well as other elements can be changed on the avatar. “The possibilities are endless,” reads the statement alongside the countdown. These include, for example, the Teemo hat, Vayne’s familiar sunglasses and also personal weapons of some in-game characters.

No further details can be gleaned from the announcement, however. The question of whether players will be able to add their own faces to their avatar is certainly exciting. We’ll have the answers next Friday, or as Riot Games says: “Soon the wardrobe will be at your disposal, stay tuned!
