The League of Legends story reaches the next milestone with its own event series. A Netflix trailer on Twitter announces the series “Arcane”.

The launch date of the League of Legends series Arcane is getting closer. The trailer on Monday from Netflix Geeked on Twitter shows first scenes and announces the series start for the fall of the year.

The latest trailer features LoL champions Jinx and Vi, who could be among the main protagonists. However, story details are not shown yet. The series is about the “origins of two iconic League champions – and to the force that will tear them apart,” according to the first announcement trailer two years ago.

To mark the tenth anniversary, developer Riot Games announced new games in October 2019 and, precisely, the animated series Arcane. At that time, it was still uncertain when and where the series would air. Now it’s clear that Netflix will be the place to be starting in the fall. On the streaming service Arcane will be broadcast exclusively.

The series was originally scheduled for release in 2020, but has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic, according to Riot Games. Series from Esport titles are multiplying on Netflix. The Dota series “DOTA: Dragons Blood” was already launched in March.
