Grand CathayはTotal War: Warhammer 3の新ファクションですが、他のファクションと異なり、ほとんど何も知られていません。それが今、変わりつつあります。

この延期の直後、開発者はWarhammerゲームに登場する最も謎めいた種族の一つ、Grand Cathayを公開しました。この派閥は、他の5つの派閥とともに、Warhammer 3に最初から登場するプレイアブル国家の1つです。彼らはキスレヴの獰猛な戦士たちと共に、それぞれの派閥を率いるカオスの神々に対抗する死の砦を形成しています。

キャセイが特別な理由
キャセイは他の派閥とは違います。というのも、KislevやChaosの派閥はもちろん長い歴史があり、Total War以前にテーブルトップや他のゲームで登場していますが、Cathayは全く新しいものです。この国については、東側には軍隊の本やもっと詳しい情報がなかったのだ。
存在は知られていましたが、これまで精緻化されていませんでした。Warhammer 3』では、Cathayに初めて顔が与えられます。このため、開発者は再びGames Workshopと協力し、すべてのキャラクター、ユニット、魔法、歴史を含む派閥の完全な再設計を行いました。
さらに、Cathayは極東文化、特に中国神話を扱った最初のWarhammerの派閥です。
