The July update for the GTA 5 mod “NaturalVision Enhanced” is now available for download and lets Los Santos shine in new splendor.

Rockstar Games isn’t making it easy for its fans:
Information about GTA 6 is coming out in dribs and drabs at best, so we have to continue to pass the time with Grand Theft Auto 5, which is now around 12 years old.

Modder Jamal “Razed” Rashid is building on this work with a modification called “NaturalVision Enhanced,” which makes Los Santos look even more beautiful. Now Razed Mods has released a new update that adds its own technical innovations.

NaturalVision Enhanced brings volumetric lighting to Los Santos

With the free July update for NaturalVision Enhanced, the modder adds new volumetric lighting effects during thunderstorms, creating a much more atmospheric mood.

  • In addition, the lens flare and glare effects have been completely reworked. These visual improvements simulate realistic camera effects and enhance the feeling of being in a cinematic scene.
  • Another interesting feature is the ability to create custom raindrop effects on virtual camera lenses, giving you new creative possibilities.

Razed has not only worked on the visual presentation, but also stabilized the technical foundation of the mod. The July update fixes several critical crashes that could previously occur. At the same time, NaturalVision Enhanced remains compatible with the aforementioned Enhanced Edition.

“10,000 hours of playtime just for development”

Work on NaturalVision Enhanced has long since reached five figures in terms of hours, as Razed told PCGamer explained.

The modder originally started with a simple Reshade preset called “VisualV” and released it in 2016.

It wasn’t until a year later that NaturalVision was released in the mod form we know today. The continuous development paid off for Razed.

Although NaturalVision Enhanced for GTA 5 is available free of charge on the modder’s official website, but interested parties and fans can secure early access via Patreon. According to estimates , Razed is expected to earn between $12,000 and $89,000 per month – after all, more than 10,000 subscribers are registered on the support page.
