Rockstar has unveiled the 2025 summer update, Money Fronts, giving you new ways to launder your money.
Although Grand Theft Auto 6 has been postponed to spring 2026, Rockstar hasn’t forgotten its current flagship GTA Online and is shortening the wait for its successor with a new update.
The official summer update for 2025 is called Money Frontsand lets you buy new properties and businesses in GTA Online to grow your wealth even faster.
Clean money is good money
When will Money Fonts be released?The free update will be released onJune 17, 2025for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
What does the update bring?You gain control of Los Santos’ largest money laundering operation and clean up the balance sheets of your criminal empire. By buying up local companies and buildings, you can funnel your illegal earnings through a networked system to turn them into legal
money, safe from prying eyes.
How it works: Your long-time partner Martin Madrazo comes to your aid and puts you in touch with a shady jet-set consultant
Your starting point will be the well-known Hands-On Car Wash in Strawberry, which is perfect for money laundering due to its cash-intensive transactions.
Other businesses include the Smoke on the Water Pharmacy and Higgin’s Helicopter Tours.
All companies and buildingsnot only generate passive income after purchase, butalso increase the revenue of your hemp plantations and smuggling cargo
But be careful: Occasionally, your new businesses will attract unwanted attention and you’ll have to manage the legal side of things. Otherwise, you’ll have to forfeit your extra laundered cash.
Also new: In addition to several gameplay updates and Imani Tech upgrades (specifically the guided missile jammer) for 50 familiar vehicles, you can also look forward to new cars and two-wheelers. These include the Karin Everon RS and Woodlander SUVs, the Bravado Tampa GT muscle car, and a police motorcycle.
There are also a few new quality-of-life improvements, such as doubling all arena points, the ability to skip cutscenes when repeating missions, and new options for delaying the signal timer in sales missions. Also cool: in biker sales missions, you can finally disable the slow Boxville delivery van!
If you don’t own GTA 5 or GTA 5 Enhanced and the corresponding online mode, you can now play the game on PC and Xbox Game Pass.
