Currently, you can only play the Free2Play shooter in multiplayer mode. The upcoming single-player campaign is modeled on two role models.
Last week, Delta Force went into open beta. The shooter is currently ranked third among the most popular games on Steam – behind Path of Exile 2 and Marvel Rivals
The free-to-play shooter is to be completed step by step in the coming year. So far, some multiplayer modes are playable in the game. Now there is a release period for the single-player campaign.
Campaign in a historical setting
Developer Team Jade has announced that the single-player campaign of Delta Force will be released in January 2025.The campaign is called Black Hawk Down and uses the Unreal Engine 5.
In Black Hawk Down, players take part in a Delta Force mission in 1993 in the Somali capital Mogadishu and get caught between the fronts during the raging civil war there.

Two well-known role models
The solo campaign of Delta Force is based on two role models. On the one hand, the 2001 action film of the same name by Ridley Scott. The British director filmed the dramatic events with a large cast of stars, including Ewan McGregor, Orlando Bloom and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
According to the developers, it is “a faithful reinterpretation of the famous film”. On the other hand, the 2003 shooter of the same name served as a template. Here, too, the aim was to reenact the mission in Somalia.
Nevertheless, the developers have stated that they have redesigned the game from the ground up. However, there is not much information about this yet on the Delta Force website. But it does say, somewhat cynically, that in Black Hak Down you can discover the “timeless charm of the city of Mogadishu, street fighting, night missions and crash sites”.
Although Delta Force started with strong player numbers at its release on Steam.However, only 65 percent of the more than 21,000 reviews are positive at the moment.Many players criticize the kernel-based anti-cheat program. The highly controversial software is automatically installed on the PC with Delta Force.
