Two mega releases await you this week: Resident Evil Requiem and World of Warcraft: Midnight! We’ll introduce you to all the important new releases on Steam and other platforms.

Two absolute heavyweights are vying for your attention this week and will give you many sleepless nights, but for very different reasons. As every Monday, we’ll show you the most important new releases on Steam and other platforms – and this time, for once, there are two highlights!

The highlights of the week

Resident Evil Requiem

(Genre: Survival horror – Developer: Capcom – Release: February 26, 2026 (World of Warcraft: Midnight

Blizzard opens the second chapter of the Worldsoul saga and confronts you in  WoW: Midnight with the current archvillain Xal’atath, who launches a devastating attack on the Sunwell of the blood elves. Among other things, you explore the completely reconstructed Silvermoon and encounter the Haranir, a new allied race with a deep connection to nature magic.

A long-awaited dream of the entire community is finally coming true: You will receive a full-fledged player housing system and build your own homes directly in Azeroth. To do this, collect decorations and furniture on your adventures to furnish your homes according to your wishes.

Early access for Epic Edition owners starts at midnight on Thursday night/Friday morning, while everyone else will have to wait until March 3.

  • Rise of Piracy (Early Access): You start as a simple captain of a small sloop and build up a mighty fleet in the Caribbean. The developers combine real-time strategy with naval battles and let you conquer islands, trade over 200 goods, or go on raids.  
  • Emberbane: Accompany the warrior Ophelia in this fast-paced 2D Metroidvania on a quest for revenge against evil deities. Manipulate the four elements of fire, water, earth, and air to survive thrilling platforming passages and execute deadly combos.

    • Nested Lands (Early Access): In a dark medieval world, you build a completely new civilization from scratch. You manage your villagers, recruit allies, and fend off bandit attacks.
      • Reigns: The Witcher: You take on the role of Geralt of Riva and guide the witcher’s fate using the typical swipe mechanics of the Reigns series. Each of your decisions shapes a new ballad by the bard Dandelion and brings you face to face with familiar faces such as Yennefer and Triss.

        • Spellcasters Chronicles (Early Access): Magical battles await you in this free-to-play 3v3 multiplayer MOBA, where you build your own deck of spells and summons before each battle. Each round, you summon hundreds of buildings and troops and actively participate in the battle yourself to ultimately destroy the enemy base.
        • Fall of an Empire: As the ruler of a crumbling Roman Empire, you must save your empire from certain doom. Your main task is to protect the country from rebellions and invaders through clever political intrigue, resource management, and successful real-time battles.

          • Tales of Berseria Remastered: The JRPG celebrates its big comeback on modern systems. In addition to high-resolution graphics, Bandai Namco provides you with practical convenience features such as improved targeting and the ability to disable random battles at any time with the push of a button.
