A new event will take place in Rainbow Six: Siege from 3 to 24 August 2021. It all revolves around a mysterious event that has occurred on the Embassy Map. A strange growth has formed on the roof, and strange things are happening inside. As it turns out, an alien life form is spreading on Earth, which you now confront as the special unit REACT.
The event forms the thematic transition to the new co-op shooter Rainbow Six: Extraction, which will now be released in January 2022 after several postponements. Ubisoft had already tested a similar event with Rainbow Six: Outbreak in 2018, when nothing was known about the plans for Extraction.
