The WW2 shooter Hell Let Loose is getting a new map, Remagen, whose historical design should ensure fierce battles.

Few maps are as popular with Battlefield fans as Operation Metro, for one simple reason: the chaos at the narrows in the underground tunnels, where dozens of players inevitably clash, makes for incomparably intense and chaotic battles.

Apparently Hell Let Loose wants to create its own version of this. The freshly announced new map Remagen for the World War II shooter sets the historical battles around the city’s Rhine Bridge as its scenario, as developer Black Matter reveals on (Steam). And those revolved around the Ludendorff Bridge – far and away the only way across the river.

Since the levels in Hell Let Loose are modelled on the basis of satellite data, Remagen largely corresponds to the real thing. Here you can see how battles between 100 players will inevitably concentrate at one point. Because there’s no swimming function in the game:

The map is to be included in the upcoming major update 12 for Hell Let Loose. However, it is not yet known when the content patch will be released.
