Most strategy games are set at least a few decades in the past, but Systemic War aims to be as modern as possible. The global, real-time strategy game is set to take place from 2008 to 2025, including significant political changes such as Brexit and the war in Ukraine.
The game is played on a large world map, where diplomatic decisions are made. In times of war, you switch to RTS battles, where you command your tanks and other units across the fields.
However, you’ll have to wait a little longer for this ambitious project, as Systemic War is not scheduled to be released on (Steam) until the end of 2026.
