Before Street Fighter 6 is released on June 2, it goes one last time into the testing phase for Capcom’s fighting game The Street Fighter 6 open beta will take place from May 19 to May 21 and will let you try out new modes and arenas in addition to 8 characters.

What to expect in the Street Fighter 6 open beta

The Street Fighter 6 open beta has a lot to offer! The (official website) of the game says that the contents of the beta are the same as those of the closed beta last December. This means that a full eight fighters will be at your disposal to defeat your rivals in the ring, including Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri and Ken. But that’s not all! At the beginning of the beta, you’ll also be able to create your own character, even though it can’t be customized afterwards and the recipe can’t be saved. Nevertheless, this novelty is one of the biggest innovations in Street Fighter 6.

And there’s more good news for all Street Fighter 6 fans: the selection of arenas is also impressive. Metro City Downtown is available, as well as the Genbu Temple, Carrier Byron Taylor, Tian Hong Yuan, the Macho Ring and the Training Room. With this great selection of fighters, arenas, and the added bonus of creating your own character, Street Fighter 6’s open beta is sure to attract many fans who want to get a good look at all the features before the release!

The open beta will also deliver a lot of content in terms of gameplay. Friendly battles, battle hub battles, open tournaments or the training mode? Enough to do for aspiring battle champions. And when you need a break, you can visit the DJ booth, photo spot, and hub merchandise store in the open game world.

The open beta is available on the PC, Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 and supports cross-platform battles.
