The Sims 4 is one of the best and most popular life simulations in the world and from 18 October it will be free on all platforms – forever.
The Sims 4 is becoming a free-to-play game – EA and developer Maxis have announced in a (official blogpost). In addition to the Free2Play conversion, the team also directly announces that there will be more new packs, sets and DLCs available for download in the future. Buyers who purchased The Sims 4 before 17 October 2022 (at the current price of 20 euros for the standard version) will receive a small bonus as compensation: the Desert Oasis set with new desert-themed in-game furniture pieces.

The manufacturer plans to reveal more about the future of The Sims at the big Behind the Sims Summit, which can be seen on (Youtube) and (Twitch) from 7pm German time from 18 October to coincide with the Free2Play changeover.
