If you own a Switch, the new Nintendo Direct had a lot of good news for you. And PC gamers don”t go completely empty-handed either

Before you get your hopes up: No, Nintendo hasn”t given any indication that they plan to bring more titles to PC in the future. But because we know from our big survey that the majority of you own a Switch, we”ve collected the most important announcements and trailers from the Nintendo Direct in September 2022 – and PC players didn”t go completely empty-handed this time either.

You can also look forward to playing PC hits like Factorio and Sifu in the comfort of your couch. And The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is something every open-world fan should keep an eye on anyway, even if you only play on the computer. Because the predecessor Breath of the Wild already set new standards for the genre – the sequel could even surpass that.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

In the trailer, you can only see short gameplay scenes that show, among other things, our familiar glider. But instead, there was both a reveal of the title and a release date: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on 12 May 2023 exclusively for the Switch.

It Takes Two

The popular co-op hit It Takes Two will be released for the Switch on November 4, 2022. Crossplay between PC and consoles (or different consoles) is not yet possible.

Factorio

Management megahit, Steam rocket, factory phenomenon: Factorio has definitely earned such big titles. With more than two and a half million copies sold on Steam, user reviews are overwhelmingly positive. And soon, you”ll be able to perfect your massive production assets on the Switch, with the version releasing on 28 October 2022.

Sifu

Rarely has a game driven our editorial director Thomas as deeply into despair as the merciless kung fu dance Sifu. If you”ve missed it so far or are waiting for a Switch version (it”s just better for boxing into the couch), then you”ll have the chance to cut your own teeth on it from 8 November 2022.

Tunic

Tunic is a pretty and challenging Zeldalike where you play as a fox waving your sword and solving little puzzles. This game always looked like it belonged on the Switch too, and from 27 September 2022, it will.

Octopath Traveler 2

The sequel to the popular JRPG was announced at the Nintendo Direct. Octopath Traveler 2 will be released on February 24, 2023 not only on the Switch, but also for PC and PS4 as well as PS5.

Bayonetta 3

No PC release in sight, but these seven minutes of gameplay from Bayonetta 3 are still worth watching! The action game starring arguably the most stylish witch in the universe will be released exclusively for Switch on October 28, 2022.

Which Switch port are you most looking forward to? Or maybe you prefer PC for every game? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
