At the end of the month, Amazon Games delivers the May update of the popular MMORPG New World. You can expect new arenas, rewards and quality of life updates. A detailed overview follows now.

At the end of March, brave adventurers set out on their final story mission in New World. In Heart of Madness, they embarked on an interdimensional journey and looked deep into a world full of madness. Now the May update provides a new challenge. For example, in the newly introduced 3v3 arenas, teams of 3 compete in best-of-five battles. Fame, riches and housing items await the winners.

The updated Reward Tracker brings adventurers new PvP XP, while Azoth Salt introduces two new currencies. Players can earn these in PvP activities. In addition, the Depths are now part of the weekly rotation of Expedition Mutators and offer new challenges as well as end-game rewards. Along with this, there are the three new mutation types: Overgrown, Barbarian and Fiendish.
There is also a new storyline in the May update of New World. The story of the Varangian Knights from Episode 2 is now continued.

You can find more information on the May update in the (official patch notes).
