The 3D debut of the developers behind the Steamworld games got a new gameplay trailer at gamescom 2021. There is not much new to see in the gameplay scenes of The Gunk, but the action adventure now has a new release date. According to this, the title will be released in December 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC – on launch day, The Gunk will also be available in Xbox Game Pass.
