Amazon’s hit series continues in June and fans can look forward to plenty of superhero spectacle right from the start
Fans of The Boys have had to wait two years for a sequel to Amazon’s popular superhero satire. But now it is finally official when season 4 will be released on Prime Video: On June 13, 2024 it finally continues!
And there’s even more good news: three episodes will be released at once on the start date. After that, it will continue at the usual rhythm with one new episode per week

What we already know about The Boys season 4
Spoiler warning: If you want to start season 4 in June completely unprepared, you should stop here and read something about the Star Wars series The Acolyte, which also starts in 2024.
The showrunners have already given a few hints in November 2023 that roughly reveal where the journey will take us. After Homelander (Antony Starr) literally cut a Starlight fan’s head off, he will probably have to answer for it in court.
There is also an official statement on this incident from the fictitious series corporation Vought International, which unsurprisingly defends Homelander’s actions:

The super virus discovered by Butcher (Karl Urban) is also set to play an important role. What exactly he will do about it is uncertain. It is also unclear how his own state of health and that of Hughie (Jack Quaid) will develop over the course of season 4
Also not unimportant for Timeline fans: Season 4 of The Boys takes place around a month after the finale of the first season of Gen V and is also set to herald the second season of the spin-off.
Last but not least, the apparent return of Black Noir must of course also be mentioned. Whether the real – although dead as a doornail – Noir is really under the suit will probably also be clarified in season 4.
Due to the big Hollywood strike in 2023, the start of the new season of The Boys was delayed, although all episodes had already been shot in June 2023, according to showrunner Eric Kripke.
And things are already looking more than just good for the future of The Boys, as season 5 is due to be filmed soon. A season 2 has also already been confirmed for Gen V.
