Technology under control – how Star Wars Outlaws has been polished

Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are addressing many small but annoying weaknesses with patch 1.7.0 for Star Wars: Outlaws. Picked up weapons finally keep their ammo after saving, cover systems work more reliably, and fast travel no longer breaks down after certain dialogs on Achra Station. Even stubbornQuest blockers, for example in smuggler camps or hidden outposts, can now be completed– which is a real relief for many players.

The developers have also worked on comfort: spaceship controls can now be customized, the crosshairs are permanently visible again, and the HUD remains stable when boosting These details in particular significantly improve the feel of the game – especially for fans who rely on every visual element in combat

Mission accomplished – what patch 1.7.0 really changes

The update also makes noticeable corrections to the content. Story quests finally run smoothly, bosses react correctly, and even long-blocked tasks on Tatooine can be retriggered. Those who play the “Wild Card” or “A Pirate’s Fortune” expansions will benefit from even more improvements: no more bugs during tower collapses, functioning grapple points and stable end sequences after boss fights.

This time, Ubisoft is paying particular attention to accessibility: new controller shortcuts, more configurable aiming aids and a stable ship HUD make access easier for all types of players. Those playing on PC can also make use of a tip from the community: By manually setting the “streamer dedicated budget” value to 8192, the graphics visibly gain in sharpness – especially with vegetation and hair. A small tuning with a big effect
