Shooter hype continues: First gameplay from Splitgate 2 will tie your brain in knots

After the first-person shooterSplitgate 2was unveileda few weeks ago, developer 1047 Games serves us gameplay for the first time with a new trailer and introduces the new factions. Like the first part, the gamerelies on a combination of portals and fast-paced gameplay. The new factions give you unique abilities that add depth to the game.

TheAerosare lightning fast and can, for example, teleport behind their enemies.

TheMeridianscan heal their team members and erect shields to protect them from enemy attacks.

TheSabrasksare significantly more cumbersome than the other factions, but they have better defense and can use powerful grenades.

Splitgate 2 will be releasedas a Free2Play gamefor PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in 2025. A companion app for smartphones is also planned, which will provide lore tidbits and unlockable in-game items.
