What once started as an Outbreak event in Rainbow Six: Siege will soon become its own game. In Rainbow Six: Extraction, Ubisoft sends you into the field in a three-person co-op team against nasty monsters.

In the new gameplay video, all the important gameplay features are explained. A total of 18 operators, whose abilities are largely familiar from Rainbow Six: Siege, twelve different maps, 25 gadgets and 13 different enemy types await you. In addition, the developers promise that further content will be added free of charge after the release.

Speaking of the release: it was recently postponed. Rainbow Six: Extraction is now scheduled for release in January 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia.

On Youtube, the trailer generated surprisingly positive feedback after the initially rather negative response. “My expectations have just been completely turned around by this video,” writes one user. Elsewhere it says: “This is what the original reveal trailer should have looked like – good job!” Overall, the video earns significantly more thumbs up than the previous clips from R6 Extraction.
