Open World 2022 – A whole year of bombastic thrillers?

It’s not that there weren’t any good open world titles coming out in 2021. However, some big names have been gradually postponed to the coming year. That’s why it could very well be that 2022 will be a feast for fans of open worlds. In the first half of the year alone, Horizon Forbidden West, Dying Light 2: Stay Human and of course Elden Ring are waiting for us.

But that’s not all, a total of around 21 top-class titles are to be released that use the open world as a central element. This does not include indie games. Which adventures await you in the coming year and why 2022 can be so great for fans of the design, we show you in this video.
